My name is Giacomo and I’m from Italy. You may know me from my YouTube channel Greg, which features many Hendrix covers. I’ve been playing guitar for more than ten years, mostly inspired by Jimi’s music.

I transcribe the guitar parts by ear, which I think is a great exercise to improve quickly and develop a good musical ear. I don’t use or read tabs; for some YouTube covers I slowed down and analyzed the concert footage (when available).

The gear I use is a Road Worn ’60 Strat with Fender Pure Vintage ’65 pickups, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Reaper, Amplitube 5, Sonus Grey Fox Wah, Jam Pedals Fuzz Phrase, WEM Dominator MK3.
